This week, Tilde announces the launch of its new LetsMT Takeoff Package. The free package introduces users to Tilde’s machine translation platform LetsMT by walking them through the full system-building and implementation process.
Tilde’s Business Development Director Indra Sāmīte participated in the TAUS Automated Translation Roundtable in Moscow on May 22, with a presentation entitled “Is MT Ready for e-Government? The Latvian Story.”
In her presentation, Indra illustrated how SMT is sufficiently mature for a significant role in e-government. She also analyzed and presented for discussion a pilot implementation for Latvia.
The April/May issue of MultiLingual magazine features an article by Tilde’s Business Development Manager for Terminology Services, Tatiana Gornostay. In the article, entitled “Dreams of better terminology tools,” Gornostay explains the importance of terminology in the 21st century.
From April 24-26, the European Language Industry Association’s Networking Days were held in Riga. The conference is one of the year’s biggest event for the language industry. This year the conference was organized in collaboration with Tilde, a ELIA member and a leading European localization, language technology, and machine translation company.
Tilde has launched a new version of its popular translation app, Tilde Translator, for iOS. Tilde Translator is the leading free mobile app for translating words, phrases, and even texts to/from Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, English, and Russian.
