In June, UAB „Tilde informacinės technologijos“ was presented the Namejs Gold Ring at the "Nameja balva 2013" awards ceremony for the most innovative Latvian company in Lithuania. The Prime Ministers of United Kingdom, the Scandinavian and Baltic countries will meet in Riga on Thursday, February 28, to discuss the challenges and innovations in the areas of green energy and bridging the digital gap. This will be the third Northern Future Forum. Andrejs Vasiļjevs, Chairman of the Board at Tilde Ltd., will chair the forum’s session on open data, e‑government and the future of languages in the digital world. This week, Paris will host a significant conference held by the UNESCO: Towards Knowledge Societies: WSIS+10 Review Meeting. Andrejs Vasiļjevs, Tilde Chairman of Board, is among the delegates from Latvia and on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. he will lead one of the conference sessions.
In the conference, representatives from different countries will discuss the progress achieved in the creation of an inclusive information society and the challenges brought about by the new technologies.
