Tilde conducts in-depth research in human-computer interaction. Research and development activities in human-computer interaction have resulted in intelligent humanlike virtual assistants and conversational agents that can interact in natural language. The virtual assistant technology integrates artificial intelligence, machine learning, language technologies, and animated 3D virtual characters.

Virtual assistant prototypes developed by Tilde include conversational agents, interactive education-driven assistants, intelligent city guides and virtual agents with translation functionality.

Unique Competences in Language Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Machine Learning

Virtual assistants that are characterized by communication in natural language and a knowledge base are a topic of active research and development in the world and Europe. Even though there are several virtual assistant applications available in the market, these technologies are still being actively researched and are considered to be innovative near future technologies.

Tilde’s researchers have unique competences in language technology, artificial intelligence and deep machine learning, and virtual embodiment allowing to create wide range of intelligent multimodal virtual assistants and conversational agents. Virtual assistant prototypes developed by Tilde include conversational agents, interactive education-driven assistants, intelligent city guides, customer care assistants for different domains and finance domain assistants. Special attention is paid to personalization and human like conversation, especially where it concerns communication through messaging platforms.
