The European Commission has entrusted Tilde to integrate the eTranslation infrastructure into several cross-border digital services, helping to further multilingual support for EU public administrations.

To enable this effort, Tilde has received funding from the CEF Telecom's Automated Translation program, winning support for three major projects: (1) the eTranslation TermBank; (2) CEF eTranslation for the EU Council Presidency; and (3) IADAATPA, a secure network platform that can link eTranslation and provide customized services to public sector organizations.

Tilde will lead the consortiums for eTranslation TermBank and CEF eTranslation for the EU Council Presidency, and joins the IADAATPA project as a partner.

Work will begin immediately on Tilde's effort to integrate eTranslation into a translation service for the EU Council Presidency. The service will be available in late August for the Estonian EU Council Presidency, scheduled to run through the end of the year. Tilde will then adapt the translation service for the EU Council Presidency in Bulgaria and Austria in 2018.
