Tilde will serve as the local host and organizer of the 2016 European Association of Machine Translation (EAMT) annual conference. The event, set for May 30-June 1, showcases the very latest in MT technology, with participants representing a range of organizations.

EAMT regularly gathers upwards of 150 participants from across Europe, as well as guests from Asia and North America.

Conference presentations feature in-depth looks at the latest MT tools and technology, often before the technology has become widely available. Presentations also include enterprise use cases from large corporations and organization using MT, best practices from the global localization industry, the fruits of cutting-edge research from universities and research centers, and the results of EU-funded ICT projects.

EAMT 2016 will be held at the University of Latvia. The university is one of the largest comprehensive and leading research universities in the Baltic states, with more than 130 academic and professional study programmes.
